So I made journal entry about the possibilty of giant rats a really long long time ago in a galaxy far away...wait, no. But it was a long time ago and so here it is! The Jackson's Flail-tailed Rat! Mostly inspired by the fact that my fiance wants a Jackson's chameleon, but they are quite an undertaking care wise for the inexperienced owner and we simply don't have the room for it with all the critters we already have. Okay, all the critters I have... Plus my fiance reminds me of Sheldon on Big Bang Theory and they were having and argument about rabbits and rats.

and as for the chameleon, if you guys plan on getting one I recommend not starting with a Jacksons chameleon, they are more of a hassle and harder to acquire, a larger, hardier chameleon like a veiled chameleon is a better choice for beginners, but if you aren't experienced with lizards I recommend anoles or geckos, then work up to water dragons/iguanas then try a chameleon, but don't take it from me, I'm going entirely from advice I've heard from others, I don't own lizards
